This week was going to be another boring one. That is until the other day when I was in the library and saw Zack! I know! I was amazed. I swear I've never been more surprised. That just made my day. You know how reuniting with your best friend should be fun? Well it was, until he told me the reason he left. He had a heart attack and now has HCM and has to take medicine. I never want to hear any of my friends having heart attacks, it's one of the worst things to hear other then having cancer. Other then that he seems to be the same old Zack. Aside from his new hair, which I think looks good.

All sad stuff aside we got Zack involved in our evil scheming. It's gonna be freakin' awesome! And then the other day Zack informed me of some more shenanigans. It's going to be fun, I can't wait.

Speaking of awesome, there is going to be this quidditch thing. Do you know how long it's been since I've played an actual game of quidditch? I decided to go as chaser this time. I don't feel like looking for a small golden ball, I wanna throw something!

That feeling of missing something unknown is gone. It's still a mystery of what I was missing though. Strange thing is, the missing feeling left when Zack came back, which leaves me bloody confused as hell.

~~Dear Diary~~,

That sounded so lame and stupid. I'm never writing that again. So, now that we got that clear. I finally found my diary, or journal, Book that I Write my Thoughts in. Yes, that's what I'll call this thing. Today I finally decided to write in this thing. Maybe a few years down the road I'll find this again and reminisce of my time at Hogwarts.

So, Zack is still missing all the action. I wonder where he is... Anyway, the other day James and I happened upon the room of requirement and found a crap load of fireworks and stuff from various joke shops. We have something wicked planned with the aid of Angie and Milla. Haha, it's going to be awesome.

Ashley made a return, which I find awesome. I must say, she changed a lot, but in a good way. I wonder if the I.F will get back together cause this place has been a bit on the dull side and it's almost driving me mental.

Lately I've been feeling like I'm missing something. I just can't figure out what it is I'm missing. And if I'm missing anything at all, where do I go to start looking for it? It's just really bugging me.

In other news I've been noticing a lot of new faces all over the place. I haven't actually met any of them, maybe a few Hufflepuffs here and there.

Speaking of Hufflepuff, we are no longer in the lead of house points. What happened? Ravenclaw are suddenly making us eat their dust. This means war!

i'm a proud hufflepuff. second year prefect. vergo. pure-blood. imperious five. prankster.
loves: quidditch. chaser. ~~seeker~~. firebolt. muggle rock music. guitar.
hates: spiders. arrogance. self obsessed people. stereotypes. violence. liars. ignorance.

i was born in a small town in canada to melinda and jason pert as anna melonie pert. my mother was a hufflepuff and my father was a slytherin. an odd combination, but they did love each other. soon after i was born my father's true colours started to show. he became extremely controlling and became abusive towards my mother. she tried to leave him a few times, but he wouldn't see to it and made my mom too scared to leave him.

during my childhood quidditch became my love. whenever my parents would argue i'd grab my broom and just fly around. sometimes i'd even play a small game of quidditch with the town kids. now it's a huge part of my life. i love everything and anything about quidditch. i'm far from athletic or anything though, so you will never catch me playing a muggle sport. unless of course i'm with friends and just playing them for fun. i prefer the position of the seeker, but now i'm starting to like the chaser better. i once went to the quidditch world cup, and i swear i'll do anything to go to it again.

when i turned nine something huge happened in my life. my father disappeared somewhere and he wouldn't tell us where he went or why. not like it would bother us any. my mom seized this opportunity to leave my father without him knowing and moved us to london, england where my mom grew up. my mom was still paranoid about my father finding us, so instead of living like witches we lived as muggles. learned a lot about them. i appreciate them more then i used to. they have a hard life to live. and that is how i got my love for muggle rock music.

the sad thing was, after only two years of living like that my father found us. that was a scary day where we ended up moving back to canada. i had just turned eleven when we moved back to canada and i got my acceptance letter to hogwarts. i was so over joyed that it almost broke my heart when my father ripped that letter up in my face and told me i couldn't and would not go. for years i dreamed of going to hogwarts. a small miracle happened two weeks later. my father passed away, i still have yet to figure out how he died.

we moved back to england and changed our names. my mom went back to being melinda marie, and i went to being anna melonie marie. but don't ever call me anna, unless you want to be hexed. my name is ann, and that is what you will call me. understand? good.

shortly after i started attending hogwarts i felt a huge change in myself. i was usually the shy, quiet and awkward kid you'd find by herself. i became the complete opposite of that. i think it helped that while i was still on the hogwarts express i met my best friend. and then i discovered my love for causing trouble with my friends. it also helps that i'm a prefect now.
